Haena Beach Park Tunnels
Haena Beach Park and Tunnels Beach
Haena Beach Park is a county-operated beach park that adjoins Tunnels Beach on Kauai’s north shore.
While you can walk along the sand from Haena Beach Park to Tunnels Beach and vice versa, they are two distinct Kauai beaches that meld into each other.
While Tunnels Beach is a residential-area beach and offers no facilities, Haena Beach Park offers restrooms, showers, and campsites, and is lifeguarded. Haena Beach is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from Tunnels.
Haena Beach Park also has a parking lot, and visitors to Tunnels Beach often park in the Haena Beach Park lot and walk over to Makua Beach (Tunnels).
